💎 Vacancy: Payment operation manager 🧩 GEO: Limassol, Cyprus

We are looking for a Payment Operation Manager for our team in Cyprus, Limassol.

💎 Responsibilities:

Payment Routing and Throughput

• Setting up and optimizing payment routing between acquirers/PSPs (by geo, card BIN, currency, transaction amount) • Increasing acceptance rate: analyzing declines by error codes, finding optimal acquirer-issuer bank pairings • A/B testing of payment routes • Development and automation of retry logic (Smart Retry) for unsuccessful transactions • Implementing Card Account Updater for subscription products

Risk Management

• Controlling and reducing chargeback rate, refund rate, fraud rate • Working with representment (disputing chargebacks) • Balancing anti-fraud rules between blocking fraud and maintaining conversion • Monitoring fraud patterns and interacting with the risk team

Acquiring and Providers

• Opening new acquiring accounts, undergoing onboarding and underwriting • Diversifying payment providers to reduce dependency on a single channel • Monitoring contract terms, tariffs, and SLAs with acquirers and PSPs • Connecting new payment methods

Operational Control

• Reconciling payments between internal systems, banks, and providers • Real-time monitoring of transactional metrics (success rate, decline rate, processing time) • Investigating incidents and failures in payment flows

Compliance

• Ensuring compliance with PCI DSS, AML/KYC requirements • Preparing reports for auditors and regulators

Cross-functional Interaction

• Close collaboration with product, development, finance, and customer support teams on payment-related issues • Participation in the integration of new payment solutions

**️️️ 🕐 What's Important:**🖱

• Experience in gambling / betting / crypto / fintech • Experience in Payment Operations / Acquiring • Understanding of payment infrastructure: acquiring, PSPs, card schemes (Visa/Mastercard), 3DS/SCA • Analytical mindset and experience working with transactional metrics • Experience with SQL and Excel for data analysis • Russian language, English language — for communication with international providers
