#sales** Head of Sales / ICON Finance** Remote (outside RF)
About the company ICON Finance is a B2B financial service: OTC, wire transfers, crypto-fiat operations. Real deal flow, real clients, real money. We don't build slides about the future — we close deals today. We are growing rapidly and are looking for a person who will build sales from scratch, sell personally, and over time create a team that does the same.
▪️What will be in your area of responsibility Months 1–6 (operational phase): ▫️Full audit of the current sales status: conversion, average check, bottlenecks — documented and presented to the CEO ▫️Definition of ICP and outbound strategy from scratch ▫️Personal pipeline: outreach, discovery calls, commercial proposals, closing (you do it yourself first) ▫️Handling objections in real negotiations ▫️Identifying upsell opportunities with existing clients ▫️Clean handover of clients to Operations after closing — without information loss ▫️Coordination with Legal/Compliance and Finance ▫️Handing over client insights to Product
Months 6–12 (scaling phase): ▫️Hiring and development of 2–3 sales managers (hunters and farmers) ▫️Creation of a sales playbook: qualification logic, scripts, deal stages, objection handling ▫️Development of partner and agency channels for attraction ▫️Sustainable, predictable pipeline with regular reporting to the CEO
▪️How we will measure results ▫️Main metric - profit per deal and growth of the B2B client base, not turnover. Specific targets are agreed upon at the start. ▫️Leading indicators: number of discovery calls per week, active pipeline volume ($), outreach contacts per week. ▫️Final indicators: new B2B clients per month, closed deals, average check (target: $50K+), profit margin per deal (%), team plan fulfillment (%) — after hiring.
▪️What we expect: ▫️3–5+ years in B2B sales, Senior level with personal deal closing, not just team management ▫️Experience building a sales funnel from scratch - without existing infrastructure, without warm leads, without scripts ▫️English B2+ (written and spoken, for working with clients) ▫️Experience managing a team of sales managers ▫️Understanding of the fintech/crypto market at the product level: OTC, wire, crypto-fiat ▫️Work with AI tools in daily processes (ChatGPT, Claude, CRM with AI, etc.) ▫️Strong negotiation skills, experience working with large checks ($50K+ per deal) ▫️Self-reliance - setting your own tasks, not waiting for micromanagement
▪️It will be a plus: ▫️Own network of contacts in crypto, fintech, or B2B finance ▫️Experience with international clients (CIS, Europe, Asia) ▫️Understanding of AML/compliance risks in crypto ▫️Experience in a fast-growing startup or company without rigid processes
▪️What we offer ▫️Work format: full-time, completely remote. No micromanagement — you are responsible for the result, not for the hours. ▫️Salary: $2,000 – $3,000 / month (depending on experience) ▫️Bonus: tied to results (agreed upon at the start) ▫️Probationary period: 3 months ▫️Vacation: flexible system — +5 days each quarter, up to 20 days in reserve at any time, unused days are carried over. ▫️Sick leave - unlimited, no questions asked for the first 5 days. ▫️Training: 50% of the course cost is compensated by the company by default, up to 100% — if there is a business case.
