Responsibilities:
Experience with market analytics:
- Data collection and analysis (production, export/import, prices, inventories)
- Building supply and demand (S&D) balances
- Identifying market drivers
Data & Analytics skills:
- Working with large datasets
- Using BI tools
- Using Python (pandas, numpy)
- Working with unstructured data
Visualization skills:
- Dashboard creation
- Preparation of regular reports
- Formation of analytical conclusions
Pricing and contracts:
- Development of pricing formulas
- Support for negotiations
- Scenario analysis
Procurement support:
- Recommendations on procurement strategies
- Participation in budgeting
- Working with suppliers – preparing models, calculating netbacks, price formulas
Forecasting skills:
- Price forecasting
- Scenario analysis
- Macroeconomic factor assessment
Requirements:
- Higher education (preferably in economics or technical fields)
- Similar work experience of 5+ years in raw material market analytics or experience as an analyst/lead analyst in large industrial companies
- Experience with international markets
- Experience in contract analytics
- Experience in the metallurgical, petrochemical, chemical, or transport sectors would be a significant advantage
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel (advanced)), Python, BI systems
- English language proficiency at Upper-intermediate level
