DatsTeam is looking for a Senior Java Developer (Fintech / Telegram WebApp) to join our product development cluster.
Our distributed development team consists of over 800 professionals and has been creating its own products since 2012 — from advertising platforms to mobile games, entertainment applications, and fintech solutions.
We are launching a new fintech product (Telegram Mini App) as part of a major virtual card market player. This is a Telegram WebApp application that allows users worldwide to issue virtual cards in seconds, link them to Apple Pay / Google Pay, and pay for purchases.
We are currently seeking strong Senior Java developers due to project scaling and the creation of this new system from scratch. Our goal is to build the simplest, most secure, and scalable solution for global payments.
Responsibilities:
- Designing the architecture and developing new fintech platform services from scratch.
- Implementing complex business logic: state management (state machines), ensuring transactionality and strict system modularity (Spring Modulith).
- Integrating with payment gateways and providers.
- Ensuring high fault tolerance and service observability (Grafana, Prometheus, Tempo, Loki, OTEL).
- Mandatory code coverage with tests (unit, integration, component).
- Participating in code reviews and mentoring less experienced colleagues.
We expect you to have:
- Commercial Java development experience (5+ years), confident with Java SE 17/21/25.
- Deep understanding of microservice architecture principles and distributed system patterns.
- Strong knowledge in transactionality, state management (State Machines), and building modular monoliths/microservices (experience with Spring Modulith or similar will be a plus).
- Experience with Temporal or other orchestration engines (Camunda, Apache Airflow) — this will be a significant advantage.
- Confident work with PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka, Spring Framework / Boot / Cloud.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ability to configure monitoring and observability (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo).
- Write quality code using JUnit 5, Mockito, WireMock.
- Ability to design systems with a focus on security (especially important for fintech).
Will be a plus:
- Experience in developing fintech solutions or payment systems.
- Experience integrating with payment providers.
