The Yandex Real Estate service is one of the largest online classifieds in Russia. This platform unites tens of thousands of real estate agencies, developers, and millions of users. We help people find not just housing, but a place where their new life begins. Our mission is to make the process of buying, selling, or renting simple, understandable, and comfortable.

We are looking for someone who is ready to delve into complex product tasks and transform them into simple engineering solutions.

Most of our services are written in Java 21, some in Scala, and they live in a monorepo under Bazel. For client interaction, we mainly use REST and GraphQL, and for inter-service communication – gRPC/Kafka. Data is stored in Apache Lucene, PostgreSQL, MySQL, YDB, YT, ClickHouse, and others. You may also encounter Temporal, Grafana, Sentry, and more with us.
