Next Genium studio is looking for a Technical Animator to work on an innovative project with dynamic characters on Unreal Engine 5.6.

Responsibilities:

• Development and support of rigs (Control Rig) for characters and creatures
• Setup of procedural animation and Motion Matching integration
• Working with MetaHuman Framework and character customization
• Setup of physics (Chaos Physics) and deformations (ML Deformer)
• Organization and optimization of graphs (Linked Layer)

Mandatory Skills:

• Proficient in UE5 tools: Control Rig, Motion Matching
• Practical experience with Linked Layer (Layer Interface)
• Understanding of the pipeline from DCC (Maya/Blender) to the engine
• Rigging skills and animation system optimization

Will be a plus (Pro level):

• Experience with MetaHumans adaptation and rigging
• Skills in working with ML Deformer & Deformer Graph
• Advanced physics simulation setup (cloth, soft bodies)
