🦄 Description:
We create 3D models of architectural objects using the Blender → Unreal Engine 5 pipeline. We are looking for an Unreal Artist / Technical Artist who will be responsible for integrating assets into UE, setting up materials, and final quality control. Work within standards (structure, materials, Nanite, collisions) and the production pipeline.
🚀 Responsibilities:
- Import assets from Blender (FBX) into UE5 with control over scale, axes, normals
- Material setup (Material Instance/Master Materials, Material Layers, PBR)
- Work with the material library and adhere to the project structure
- Checking and identifying errors in UV / Texel Density / texture correctness
- Quality control of assets before delivery (geometry, materials, visuals)
- Work with decals, vertex color, simple shader effects
📚 Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience with Unreal Engine (UE5) in real-time projects
- Understanding of the full Blender → UE pipeline
- Confident work with materials (PBR, Material Instances, basic shaders)
- Experience with Nanite
- Experience with architectural assets
- Attention to detail and ability to work according to standards
➕ Will be a plus:
- Experience in modeling and understanding of the full Blender → UE pipeline (geometry, UV, export, causes of errors)
- Experience with Blueprint (basic level)
- Understanding of Vertex Color / Decals / Parallax
- Experience working in a pipeline with modelers
