About the company:
instinctools is a software company that develops custom solutions for businesses. They are looking for a Senior Golang Developer for a client — a global mobility platform operating in over 700 cities and 47 countries.
Tasks:
- Design, develop, and support backend services in Golang for scalable and high-load systems.
- Design SQL schemas, manage indexes, and optimize queries.
- Build and maintain asynchronous communication between services (Kafka).
- Manage the full service lifecycle: development, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
- Configure observability (metrics, logging, alerts), investigate incidents, and conduct post-mortems.
- Write clean code, conduct code reviews, and adhere to architectural practices.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of commercial experience in backend development, experience in high-load environments.
- 5+ years of practice with Golang, including the use of advanced features (generics, reflection, unsafe, etc.).
- Strong SQL knowledge: schema design, scaling (replication, partitioning, sharding), and query optimization.
- Deep understanding of Redis and its optimal use in high-load systems.
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD; knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
- Understanding of microservices architecture and robust inter-service communication patterns; experience building distributed systems.
Will be a plus:
- Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ).
- Knowledge of IaC (Terraform, Pulumi).
- Experience in profiling and optimizing Go services (pprof, trace).
- Skills in working with Figma and using AI assistants (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT).
