Java/Kotlin Developer in FinTech (Payment Integrations Group)

The Payment Integrations Group is responsible for integrating Yandex Bank's internal systems and the broader Yandex ecosystem with payment systems and agents—including all Faster Payments System (FPS) channels and the "Mir" payment system. Our work enables payments and transfers for individuals and legal entities.

We implement communication protocols with internal and external systems, ensure stability and performance under load in a distributed architecture, and maintain mechanisms for automated monitoring and recovery.

Our tech stack:

• Primary programming language — Kotlin
• Data storage systems — YDB, ClickHouse, Managed PG
• Task distribution systems — STQ, Kafka
• Microservices architecture (the team has over 25 microservices)

What tasks await you

Integrating acquiring services into a common platform We are building a platform responsible for integration with the National Payment Card System (NPCS), partner banks, and external/internal merchants to process all types of operations for the Faster Payments System, card acquiring, and payment facilitation.

Development of FinTech services You will design, develop, and launch microservices for financial services, enhance their fault tolerance, reliability, and performance, and develop the infrastructure, development tools, and processes.

We expect that you

• Have strong proficiency in Java or Kotlin (or any other OOP language) and are ready to write in Kotlin
• Are familiar with core algorithms and data structures
• Know SQL and have worked with relational databases
• Are attentive to detail and responsible
