** Game Designer with 1+ year of experience ** Task We need game designers for an indie studio. Those who are interested in this direction and have the appropriate experience in the general field. We simply gather (online), brainstorm, create, and release. Currently, we are looking for one more person to join the team, someone who loves games and knows how to design them.

It's enough to:

• come up with a mechanic and not break the whole game with it;
• sketch a level layout so the level designer has something to work with;
• test a build and say: "it lags here, it's boring here, let's fix it";
• write a couple of lines of dialogue if the narrative designer is swamped;
• assign a task in the tracker so that it can be read the first time.

If you've done any of this in commercial projects – that's already good.

What you will be doing Everything a game designer typically does in a small studio:

• carry ideas from your head into documents, and from documents – into the build;
• polish the project with everyone until it's "not embarrassing to show";
• argue until you're hoarse, and then go for coffee and come up with something cooler;
• occasionally curse at a build that crashes out of nowhere;
• feel great when a mechanic suddenly comes alive and you just want to play it.
