Lemann PRO (Leroy Merlin) is looking for an Import Procurement Manager.
Responsibilities:
Developing procurement strategy for import suppliers:
- Responsible for the development and implementation of medium- and long-term strategies for effective management of import suppliers;
- Regularly analyze category needs;
- Conduct regular market monitoring;
- Systematically analyze risks and propose measures for their elimination/mitigation;
- Manage the current supplier portfolio and revise it.
Conducting commercial development:
- Plan and initiate competitive procurement procedures (tenders);
- Negotiate product specifications, prices, volumes, delivery times, discounts, and other contractual terms;
- Responsible for product industrialization and its serial life.
Analyzing key procurement performance indicators:
- Regularly analyze procurement activities in terms of profitability, inventory turnover and capital, product quality, delivery timeliness, and in-stock availability.
Candidate Profile:
- Higher education. Preferably in economics, finance, procurement, and/or supply chain management;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in international procurement (preferably in foreign Retail, FMCG, DIY, Automotive companies, or other manufacturing sectors);
- Experience in building procurement strategies for product categories/materials/suppliers;
- Procurement and management of a large product range;
- Excellent analytical and presentation skills, experience in preparing and conducting competitive procurement procedures, experience in managing and/or participating in projects;
- Excellent negotiation skills with foreign suppliers in various formats and with participants at different levels;
- Experience working with cost breakdown structures (CBD);
- English language proficiency at B2 level or higher is mandatory;
- High degree of autonomy.
