What you will be doing:
- Analyzing SOTA in the field of calibration and related areas. Designing experiments, testing hypotheses, and developing sensor calibration methods;
- Designing CLI/API for developed methods, automating calibration processes and their testing;
- Participating in the implementation of developed calibration methods into the company's products and autonomous driving pipelines;
- Participating in the development of the team's engineering culture, conducting code reviews, and working with technical debt.
What we expect from the candidate:
- Over 5 years of industrial software development experience in Python;
- Excellent knowledge of Python 3. Knowledge of frameworks for working with mathematics, sensors, and nonlinear optimization – numpy, scipy, GTSAM, Open3D, PCL;
- Understanding of the fundamentals of linear algebra and probability theory, methods of nonlinear and graph optimization;
- Experience in managing the full cycle of R&D with an emphasis on rapid hypothesis testing and delivering results to the product.
