Development of analytical infrastructure, building and optimizing data marts for management reporting. 🧩 About the Role: this position is at the intersection of Data Analytics and Data Engineering (Analytics Engineer). We are looking for a specialist who not only writes queries but also deeply understands the data warehouse (DWH) architecture, knows how to optimize heavy SQL queries in MPP systems, and builds reliable data transformation pipelines using dbt and Python. 🚀 Key Tasks: — Optimization and verification of complex SQL queries for building management reporting data marts. — Development, support, and documentation of data models and marts using DBT. — Data processing and transformation using Python. — Participation in orchestration and monitoring of ETL processes (Airflow). — Information integrity control, data reconciliation, and quality assurance (Data Quality). — Teamwork following team development principles using Git. 🎯 Mandatory Requirements (Hard Skills): Databases and SQL (CRITICAL!): — Understanding of relational database theory and data warehouse (DWH) architecture. — Proficient in SQL, including when working with large volumes of data. — Query optimization skills to improve performance and reduce load on the storage. — Practical experience with ArenadataDB, Postgres, and Greenplum (understanding the specifics of data processing in MPP systems). Transformation and Orchestration Tools (CRITICAL!): — Experience using DBT for building and maintaining data marts. — Practical application of Python in developing solutions for data processing and transformation. — Experience with Airflow and understanding the principles of ETL process orchestration. Processes and Methodologies: — Proficiency in data warehouse design and construction methodologies. — Knowledge of management reporting approaches: ability to prepare data for marts, perform reconciliations, and control information integrity. — Proficient in Git for version control and collaborative coding. 💡 Will be a significant plus: — Experience in retail (especially furniture, home goods, or e-commerce). — Experience with DWH modeling methodologies (Data Vault, Star Schema, Snowflake). — Skills in working with visualization tools (Superset, Power BI, Metabase).
