Head of Payments Strategy & Transformation
Location: Dubai, UAE
We are looking for an experienced payments professional to join our leadership team and drive the development and implementation of new payment capabilities and operating models.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead payment transformation initiatives from strategy and design through implementation and go-live.
- Design end-to-end payment processes, workflows, controls and operating models.
- Work closely with Technology, Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance and Commercial teams.
- Define business and technical requirements and oversee implementation, testing and operational readiness.
- Manage external technology and payment partners.
- Establish scalable processes, governance, reporting and performance metrics.
- Provide strategic guidance to senior management on payments infrastructure and industry best practices.
Ideal Candidate
- 8+ years of experience in payments, fintech, banking or financial technology.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end payment transaction lifecycles.
- Proven experience in payment product implementation or transformation, preferably in a greenfield environment.
- Strong knowledge of payment processing, settlement, reconciliation, risk and operational controls.
- Excellent programme management and stakeholder-management skills.
- Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-growing and evolving environment.
