Billing is Yandex's internal financial platform that helps the company's services monetize. Our system processes business events and transactions from all Yandex services and performs financial calculations for them. Around 100 million events pass through our system daily, and this number is constantly growing.

Our team implements features into the platform that are required by Yandex services for business development and entering new markets. Any major launch of new products in Taxi, Direct, Market, Lavka, Food, Kinopoisk, Music, and other Yandex services involves integration with our platform.

Additionally, hardcore infrastructure tasks arise in all components of our system: improving fault tolerance when one or two data centers fail, speeding up system response time, optimizing mass data processing, and ensuring operation during sudden load spikes.

Beyond this, we are actively rebuilding our platform, transitioning to a microservices architecture, and making it horizontally scalable, fully real-time, and flexible for implementing new functionality.

What tasks await you

• Building fault-tolerant architecture with availability >99.99% and data integrity of 100%

• Have strong proficiency in Python or Go
