Hello! This is the PROGA team. We are a young and driven agency with 4 years of market experience in development. We manage projects for website, bot, and app development. Both our team and our clients stay with us for a long time — that says a lot ;)

Currently, we are looking to strengthen our team for a high-load project in the AdTech sphere — the development of a DSP system (real-time advertising bidding system). We need a backend developer with an understanding of programmatic advertising specifics.

What you will be doing: 🔹Development and maintenance of REST API on FastAPI 🔹Designing and documenting endpoints (OpenAPI / Swagger) 🔹Integration with message brokers RabbitMQ and Kafka 🔹Development of consumer and producer logic for event-driven services 🔹Designing and optimizing databases (PostgreSQL, Redis) 🔹Writing clean, test-covered code with code review 🔹Participation in architectural discussions and sprint planning 🔹Profiling and eliminating performance bottlenecks

What we expect from the candidate: 🔸 2–4 years of commercial experience with Python (3.9+) 🔸 Confident knowledge of FastAPI: dependency injection, middleware, lifespan, Pydantic v2 🔸 Practical experience in designing REST API: versioning, status codes, OpenAPI 🔸 Experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka: producers, consumers, queues, topics, at-least-once / exactly-once 🔸 Work with asynchronous Python (asyncio, understanding of event loop) 🔸 Experience with PostgreSQL: schemas, indexes, query optimization, SQLAlchemy / asyncpg 🔸 Experience with Docker and basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines 🔸 Ability to read and write technical documentation in English

Working conditions:

• Contract as an Individual Entrepreneur (IP)
• Flexible schedule (approximately 40 hours/month), fully remote format
• Hourly pay (discussed individually)
