Middle+ Python Backend Developer at VPN

We at LagomVPN are looking for a Python engineer to strengthen the current team and help stabilize and develop the backend!

We offer:

• Employment: full-time
• Salary net: 220-250 thousand ₽ / month
• Work format: remote (office in Moscow is optional)

Your tasks:

• Development and enhancement of microservices using FastAPI
• Performance optimization, bottleneck identification
• Work with PostgreSQL, schema design, indexes, query optimization
• Development of background tasks: Celery, RabbitMQ, APScheduler
• Caching and fast data processing (Redis)
• Participation in improving fault tolerance and scalability
• Work with monitoring: Prometheus + Grafana

We expect:

• 3-5+ years of commercial Python development experience
• Confident work with asynchronous programming (asyncio, aiohttp/httpx, aiogram)
• Deep understanding of FastAPI and building REST APIs
• Excellent knowledge of PostgreSQL
• Experience with Redis, message brokers, and asynchronous queues
• Understanding of microservice architecture and scaling principles
• Docker and basic CI/CD skills
• Ability to troubleshoot production incidents
