Obel is the next stage in the evolution of the Versions team. It grew out of our practice of working with digital products and is based on the same processes, standards, and way of thinking. Currently, we continue to work and publish under the Versions brand, gradually transitioning to the name Obel.
We design interfaces and visual systems that scale along with the product. We work from business context, organizational logic, and real constraints. For us, design is a way to organize complexity and support product development.
We are looking for a product designer who values being part of the process and understands how their solutions integrate into the product and team collaboration.
We need a designer who:
– thinks systematically and can break down a product into levels: goals, constraints, roles, scenarios
– confidently works with interface architecture, states, and interaction logic
– understands how UX decisions are connected to business logic and team structure
– brings solutions to a state where the product can be worked with, maintained, and developed further
– knows how to work in a team where it's important not to hide complexities, but to deal with them
– integrate into the client's product environment and work alongside their team
– analyze the current system: how it's structured, where constraints and inconsistencies arise
– work within set priorities and product scope
– design scenarios and transition logic, interface architecture, states, and roles
– develop UI based on an agreed-upon structure
– document solutions so the team can maintain and develop them without external help
– participate in working discussions with product, business, and development teams
We don't rush the process for speed, nor drag it out for comfort.
We work attentively, consistently, and honestly—with ourselves and each other.
We speak directly, discuss difficult things, correct mistakes, and move forward.
For us, clarity, the resilience of solutions, and the feeling that the product is genuinely improving, not just in words, are important.
– experience working with digital products (FinTech, SaaS, platforms, complex services—a plus) – confident UX work – attention to detail and the ability to keep the holistic picture in mind – ability to work in long cycles without losing quality – independence within your area of tasks – English at a working level
– work in a small team with a lively, open workspace – tasks that have weight and consequences – embedded work model and a clear process – long-term collaboration without unnecessary fuss and noise – an environment where you can grow calmly, learn, and do strong work
