Obel is the next stage of development for the Versions team. It grew out of our experience working with digital products and relies on the same processes, standards, and mindset. We are currently continuing to work and publish under the Versions brand, gradually transitioning to the Obel name.
We design interfaces and visual systems that scale with the product. We work from the business context, organizational logic, and real constraints. For us, design is a way to organize complexity and support product development.
We are looking for a product designer who values being involved in the process and understanding how their solutions integrate into the product and teamwork.
We need a designer who:
– Thinks systemically and can break down a product into levels: goals, constraints, roles, scenarios – Works confidently with interface architecture, states, and interaction logic – Understands how UX solutions are connected to business logic and team structure – Brings solutions to a state where the product can be worked on, maintained, and further developed – Can work in a team where it’s important not to hide complexities but to resolve them
– Integrating into the client's product environment and working alongside the team – Analyzing the current system: how it is structured, where limitations and inconsistencies arise – Working within set priorities and the product framework – Designing scenarios and transition logic, interface architecture, states, and roles – Developing UI based on the agreed-upon structure – Documenting solutions so that the team can maintain and develop them without external help – Participating in working discussions with product, business, and development teams
We don't rush the process for the sake of speed, nor do we drag it out for comfort. We work attentively, consistently, and honestly—with ourselves and each other. We speak directly, discuss complexities, correct mistakes, and move forward. For us, clarity, the stability of solutions, and the feeling that the product is genuinely improving are important, not just in words.
– Experience working with digital products (fintech, SaaS, platforms, complex services – a plus) – Confident UX work – Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a holistic view – Ability to work in long cycles without losing quality – Independence within their area of responsibility – English language at a working level
– Work in a small team with a dynamic, open workspace – Tasks that have weight and consequences – Embedded work model and a clear process – Long-term cooperation without unnecessary stress or noise – An environment where you can calmly grow, learn, and do strong work
