We are looking for a CIO/CTO for a cool state-owned company:
Responsibilities:
- Formation and updating of the 3-5 year strategy in terms of infrastructure, platforms, development, and user support;
- Definition of target architecture and solution standards at the IT block level;
- Approval of key technological choices (platforms, stack);
- Initiation and coordination of the process of developing and updating regulations, policies, and standards for all management departments;
- Management of company infrastructure modernization and reconstruction processes;
- Organization and control of uninterrupted operation of infrastructure services and user support; control of SLA/SLO compliance;
- Organization and control of risk management, fault tolerance, and disaster tolerance (DR) processes;
- Management of equipment and software procurement process in accordance with 44-FZ/223-FZ; interaction with integrators and suppliers.
Requirements:
- Linux and Windows Server: understanding of architecture and administration principles at a level sufficient for evaluating staffing requirements, auditing configurations, and having a substantive discussion with engineers;
- Understanding the role of domain controllers, directory services, basic OS security principles;
- Understanding of SAN (FC, iSCSI), NAS (NFS, SMB), SDS (Ceph), parallel file systems (Lustre), object storage (S3-compatible) architectural principles;
- Understanding the application scope of each storage class;
- Knowledge of major vendors: opensource, foreign, domestic;
- Understanding of hypervisor architectures (KVM, QEMU), virtualization management platforms (Proxmox VE), cloud platforms;
- Knowledge of major vendors: opensource, foreign, domestic;
- Understanding of principles for building fault-tolerant clusters, organizing disaster-tolerant configurations;
- Ability to define target RPO/RTO together with service owners;
- Ability to organize DR as a management process - development of recovery plans, assignment of responsibilities, regular drills and tests, control of regulation relevance;
- Incident and change management (ITSM): knowledge of incident management, change management, problem management processes; understanding of SLA/SLO/SLI, RPO/RTO.
