Description
Data Management Department (SberData) is responsible for developing a data platform within Sberbank. We manage over 230 Petabytes of data, about a hundred products and services for clients, including the Data Supermarket, Data Archive, Data Lab, Graph Platform, and many others. We build our own platform distributions as part of vendor substitution and actively collaborate with all Sberbank business units to solve their business problems: our users have already created over 6,500 data marts.
SberData implements best practices for working with data, reduces the cost of data storage, increases data retrieval speed, and implements AI technologies. Our solutions are used by over 30 thousand people.
Responsibilities
Tasks:
- organizing and controlling work on the development and integration of a data platform based on Apache Ozone and related technologies
- full-cycle task management: identifying needs, formalizing, decomposing, prioritizing, planning, tracking execution, monitoring deadlines, and reporting
- working at the intersection between business consumers, developers, DevOps/SRE, and architects. Conducting working meetings, preparing minutes, and resolving organizational conflicts.
- creating and maintaining clear project documentation: technical specifications, requirements, process diagrams, progress reports.
Requirements
We expect:
- 3+ years of experience as a project lead, project or product manager in the Data or Enterprise solutions domain, or as a systems analyst with experience coordinating teams
- knowledge of principles for working with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift), and virtual machines
- ability to conduct domain analysis, identify integration points between systems, and describe data flows and API interactions.
- practical experience creating diagrams (UML, C4, ArchiMate, or similar) at the context, container, and component levels using tools like Draw.io, Miro, PlantUML, etc.
Preferred:
- understanding of the principles and interaction of the listed technologies: Apache Ozone (S3-compatible)/ Hadoop/HDFS, Kubernetes (including production deployment), Apache Spark.
