Head of AI Product Direction

Required experience: over 6 years Full-time, 5/2

Location: Moscow, BC “Bruce Premier office”, Bryusov per., 2/14, bldg. 9 (m. Biblioteka im. Lenina)

You will work in the Data Management Department: the team makes data the foundation of business solutions: develops a unified data platform, analytics and reporting, and implements AI tools.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:

1. Formulate and prioritize the AI product portfolio: what we do, what we don't do, in what order.
2. Manage products throughout their full cycle: from definition to implementation and effect measurement.
3. Achieve real-world usage: work with teams, training, support for implementation.
4. Define requirements for prototypes and criteria for readiness for production.
5. Design agent logic, prompts, rules for working with data sources, fallback scenarios, and response quality control.
6. Evaluate and justify the effect: time savings, reduction of manual operations, quality of results, scaling potential.
7. Analyze manual processes together with business teams and propose a target scenario.
8. Document decisions and set standards for AI product development.
9. Lead development: an engineer in direct subordination plus specialists from the development guild and domains — task assignment, solution review, priorities.
10. Form a team as the product portfolio grows.
11. Work with business customers: gather scenarios, discard unpromising ones, defend priorities.
12. Formulate AI development standards within the department.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM THE CANDIDATE:

1. Experience in launching LLM solutions into production: working products with users, not pilots and demonstrations.
2. Understanding of RAG and AI agents at the level of task definition and feasibility assessment.
3. Product approach: prioritization, product metrics, readiness to close unpromising directions.
4. Experience leading engineers, including in a matrix model: negotiate priorities and get results from people in adjacent teams.
5. Confident work with data: SQL and Python at a level sufficient to build a prototype independently; understanding of analytical storage and reporting.
6. Willingness to do hands-on work: the team is small, the role involves not only prioritization but also personal development.
7. Practice in assessing response quality: sets of test questions, accuracy metrics, scenarios for when the model responds incorrectly.
8. Ability to work with resistance to change: explain, train, guide people to actually use the tools.

WILL BE A PLUS:

1. Experience with internal products: implementation among colleagues differs from working with external users.
2. Analytical subject area: metrics, reporting, BI.
3. LangChain, LangGraph, LangFlow or similar.
4. Experience defending the effect of pilots to the business in measurable terms.
