Our company has developed a SaaS system for testing job candidates and employees, used by major market players: every volunteer of the Sochi-2014 Olympic Games, the 2016 Ice Hockey World Championship, and the 2018 FIFA World Cup; employees of Alfa-Bank, Rosatom, Uralchem, Sanofi, VTB, Aeroflot, Transneft, Yandex.Market, Ozon, Bank of Russia, and many other companies. In short: we automatically and very successfully select suitable people for vacancies through online testing (knowledge, abilities, personality, needs).
Minimum Program:
- This vacancy is for an established specialist with good experience in enterprise development. It's unnecessary to explain that at this level, knowledge and experience in writing performant, scalable, testable, secure, and maintainable code are required.
- Solid knowledge of .NET and C# (our entire backend + several console or WPF utilities are built on them).
- You know how to write multithreaded code (understand how to effectively use asynchronous programming, work with tasks, etc.).
- EF Core.
- PostgreSQL (stored procedures, triggers, raw SQL, etc.).
- REST Web API (idiomatic, not RPC-like; you understand, for example, when to use PUT for creation).
- You know Docker, can work under WSL (or use Ubuntu instead of Windows).
- You can profile your code and love writing tests.
- Decent B1/B2 English is required (you acquire all professional knowledge from English-language sources, easily understand technical videos, and write code comments that are not at the level of "from your heart in English").
You are ideal if
- You are proficient with Linux.
- You know frontend (TypeScript, Vue) well enough to solve business tasks from database structure and API changes to layout (but this vacancy is primarily about being a good backend developer).
- You are familiar with the works of Tschichold, Tufte, Bringhurst, Milchin.
- You are developing your ability to create useful, convenient, understandable, and fast products (not just good technical solutions).
