Pikabu is one of the most popular sites in RuNet. It is a UGC platform visited by ~30 million users monthly.
We are actively developing the web version of the site, as well as a new flagship mobile application.
We are looking for an experienced Senior / Lead UX/UI Designer who will take responsibility for the quality of UX/UI design of the main Pikabu product with a focus on the mobile application and become a pillar for a small design team: two junior designers, a senior, an illustrator, and a technical designer.
The product is developing, mobile tasks are becoming more complex, and the design team requires closer leadership involvement. We need a person who can simultaneously:
- maintain a high level of UX solutions in the product (web and mobile),
- be the decision-maker for design in general,
- develop junior designers and build a clear growth trajectory for them.
Responsibilities
- Designing and preparing UX/UI layouts for the main Pikabu product, and primarily the mobile application.
- Participating in product discussions and joint solution development with product managers,
- Reviewing design solutions within the team, controlling UX quality,
- Mentoring two junior designers: providing regular feedback, training, forming development plans.
Experience we value
- 3+ years of experience as a Senior UX/UI Designer.
- Deep understanding of product development processes and effective UX principles.
- Experience in UX analysis and using data for design decisions.
- Proficient in Figma.
- Experience in mentoring or working in a leadership role.
- Willingness to share knowledge and experience, creating a supportive team atmosphere.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and help solve problems.
Conditions
- Salary: fixed salary, fully compliant with the Labor Code. Discussed within the range of 300-350 thousand rubles.
- Fully remote work in a distributed team without ties to a specific city or country.
- Main company working hours are from 10 AM to 7 PM Moscow time (+-3 hours), flexible time distribution, lenient towards shifting working hours.

Selection process
- This position does not require a test task, but a portfolio is mandatory.
- Interview with CPO.
- Technical discussion on layouts and approaches to UX/UI work.
- Final introduction to management.
