UX Designer Middle+
We are looking for a Middle+ level UX Designer for project-based remote work.
Our goal is to find a person who will help improve the current product UX, make the interface simpler, clearer, and more logical for users, as well as strengthen the product in terms of conversion to subscription and more competent presentation of tariff limitations and paid features.
We need not just a designer who draws pretty screens, but a specialist who can look at the product from both the user's and the business's perspective simultaneously: see the entire user journey, find weak spots, simplify scenarios, and propose solutions that genuinely improve the experience and help the product grow.
What you will need to do
- Conduct an audit of the current product UX/UI
- Identify problem areas in user scenarios, screen logic, and navigation
- Analyze the customer journey / user journey within the product
- Identify points where the user:
- gets lost
- does not understand the next step
- hesitates
- does not complete the target action
- does not convert to a subscription
- Simplify the user's journey within the product
- Redesign key screens and flows to make them clearer, cleaner, and more convenient
- Devise a more effective presentation of:
- free plan limitations
- advantages of paid subscriptions
- upgrade points
- paywall screens
- paid features and monetization scenarios
- Propose solutions that help increase payment conversion without aggressive pressure on the user
- Prepare updated mockups in Figma
- If necessary, provide recommendations for improving the interface structure, UI components, and the overall design logic of the product
- Work in tandem with founders, product team, and development
What matters to us
- Middle+ level
- Strong experience specifically in UX, not just visual UI
- Ability to design interfaces that are simple, clear, and conversion-oriented
- Ability to analyze customer journey / user journey and see the entire user journey within the product
- Ability to use modern AI tools for design and UX work
- Experience working with Figma AI for creating first drafts, variations, and accelerating routine tasks
- Understanding of how to apply AI for:
- wireframing and quick concepts
- preparing content and visual placeholders
- accelerating UX research and insight analysis
- improving handoff to development
- Experience with tools such as Figma AI, Adobe Firefly, Maze AI, Uizard, Relume or equivalents
Importantly, about AI mindset
- You use AI not for the "wow effect," but as a work tool to accelerate the UX/UI process
- You understand where AI truly saves time and where manual professional oversight is needed
Product thinking
- Understanding user behavior at different stages: from first product entry to subscription purchase
- Ability to identify: friction points, drop-off points, conversion bottlenecks, UX barriers
- Understanding of the impact on user behavior from:
- tariff limitations
- paywall
- onboarding
- CTA
- information architecture
- upsell logic and transition to paid plans
- Experience with SaaS, mobile apps, marketplaces, subscription products will be a big plus
- Ability to justify decisions with logic, experience, and common sense, not just visual preferences
- Independence, initiative, and ability to propose solutions
- Confident work in Figma
