B2B Communications Editor at Market

Yandex Market is one of the largest marketplaces in Russia. With our help, tens of thousands of sellers find their buyers: from self-employed individuals and sole proprietors to large manufacturers. The product is rapidly growing and changing, and it's important to communicate these changes to sellers in a timely, understandable, and concise manner. We are looking for an editor who will take on this task and strengthen the B2B communications team.

Your tasks will include:

Preparing communications You will write news, email newsletters, Telegram posts, banners for the personal account, and other texts for sellers, coordinate them, and release them in conjunction with a content manager.

Maintaining a consistent tone in all texts You will need to talk about launches brightly and without losing the essence, prepare complex crisis communications, and sound clear and recognizable in all of this.

Developing channels and formats From launching email digests that will be read to the end, to new messengers where we definitely should be present: you can try anything that allows us to reach the target audience and achieve business goals — if you can prove and evaluate it.

We expect you to:

Be ready to dive into the product and know how to talk about complex things in simple language
Be literate, write easily and concisely
Meticulously gather information, ask questions, be attentive to details and facts
Be calm about edits and comments — there will be many
Know how to negotiate — you will regularly communicate with clients and colleagues from product, design, marketing, PR, and legal departments
Be able to plan your workload, organize yourself and others
Be result-oriented and not afraid of unclear and difficult situations
Be proactive: you will create and maintain guides, develop editorial policy, and look for optimal solutions to tasks

It will be a plus if you:

Have worked with a B2B audience, understand its pain points and needs
Are confident in working with AI tools
