Vacancy: Head of Department

Function: Financial Controlling Department Work in Moscow Company: mining enterprise with a staff of over 13,000 people

This vacancy is for a hands-on manager who personally prepares and writes the analytical part of presentation materials and management reports (textual explanations and conclusions), and is proficient in factor analysis – the ability to break down deviations into key drivers (changes in prices, production volumes, product mix, unit costs, exchange rate differences, etc.).

Important for us:

1. Experience in the mining sector. Understanding of cost formation by production stages at a mining and processing plant.
2. Fluent English.
3. Skills in independently preparing management reports.
4. Fluent in IFRS and Russian Accounting Standards (RAS).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Writing and quality control of the Group's management reporting sections.
• Integration of new assets into the Group's structure (Brazil, Kazakhstan, Russia).
• Interaction with counterparties within the management company and with Group enterprises.
• Involvement in the preparation of the Group's budget and materials for management and the Board of Directors.
• Identifying opportunities to improve the economic performance of enterprises.
• Providing methodological support to the Group in terms of the financial function.
• Preparing information and necessary analytics upon management requests.
