Your responsibilities will include:
- Support of signal delivery and control during live broadcasts of major sporting events (mainly football);
- Ensuring high quality of live broadcasts and prompt response to requests from the RPL;
- Maintenance and technical support of TV equipment.
We are looking for you if you have:
- At least 2 years of experience as an engineer in television;
- Experience with equipment: VSM control system, Snell Sirius video switchers, EVS video servers, Riedel intercom systems, Nevion Virtuoso encoders managed by Nevion VideoIPath, Axon signal processing devices, Snell/GV, Nevion, Tektronix synchronizers and analyzers, etc.;
- Knowledge of television technologies: TV and radio broadcasting technical regulations, main television standards, understanding of video and audio signal paths, TV device signaling and control systems, knowledge of main OB van units, IP television signal transmission standards: ST2110, ST2022, PTPv2; video signal encoding SRT, H.264, H.265, WebRTC, JPEG XS, J2K;
- Experience in developing and implementing video path schemes, diagnosing TV equipment malfunctions, coordinating and interacting with field engineering teams;
- Understanding of IP networks basics, MS Office knowledge;
- Experience with AutoCAD (electrical diagrams);
- Automation skills, scripting: Bash, Perl, regular expressions, Python, PowerShell;
- Willingness for business trips within the Russian Federation and abroad (infrequent).
