Responsibilities
- Monitor the operability of the infrastructure and the provision of broadband satellite communication operator services in a 24/7 mode (rotating 12-hour shifts).
- Detect emergency and non-standard situations based on data from the centralized monitoring system or user requests.
- Perform localization, diagnostics, and, if possible, independent resolution of detected emergencies.
- If independent resolution of an emergency is impossible, identify the responsible department, monitor the progress of work, and the resolution of emergencies.
- Document detected emergencies and actions taken.
- Monitor the resolution of emergencies by responsible departments.
- Interact with other departments and coordinate their interaction with each other to resolve emergencies as quickly as possible.
- Perform scheduled work on the telecom operator's network and monitor scheduled work performed by other departments.
Requirements
- Higher education
- Knowledge of the TCP/IP stack
- Advanced user knowledge of the Linux OS
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.)
- Technical English language proficiency
- Preferably, understanding of the structure and principles of cellular and transport communication networks.
