The Tutu team develops services for travel planning and booking tickets, hotels, and tours.
What you will do
- Develop and enhance tour backend services using Go.
- Create SEO pages, new sections, and services for working with search traffic.
- Develop caching, improve page and search result speed, and enhance the quality of offer selection.
- Implement a low-price calendar and infrastructure for A/B experiments in search results.
- Support and develop tour search results, respond to incidents and technical requests from users and partners.
- Participate in architectural discussions, planning, and collaboration with adjacent teams and partners.
Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial development experience in Go.
- Experience designing solutions in a microservices architecture.
- Practical experience with gRPC/protobuf, REST/OpenAPI, relational databases, and caching.
- Experience developing pages and services for search traffic.
- Backend experience in A/B experiments: traffic splitting, metric collection, and transmission.
- Ability to write unit tests, independently design solutions, and negotiate with adjacent teams.
It would be great if you have
- Experience with modifying a PHP monolith.
- Experience working with Kafka.
- Experience extracting individual services from a monolith.
- Experience taking over support for a third-party service or mentoring.
- Experience in travel or e-commerce.
