We are looking for a Data Science Intern who will work with the team to implement modern ML and AI solutions into various processes across all business lines of Sberbank Insurance.
Responsibilities
- Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): visualizing distributions, anomaly detection, statistical hypothesis testing;
- Developing and training models on labeled data;
- Writing clean Python code;
- Participating in building data preprocessing pipelines;
- Presenting work results in the form of dashboards or presentations for the business;
- Documenting code and experiments (MLflow / comments).
Requirements
- **Education: including a 3rd-4th year Bachelor's or Master's student in a technical field (Mathematics and Mechanics, Computer Science, MIPT, IT or related);
**- Languages: Proficient Python (typing, OOP - basic) and SQL (JOIN, window functions);
- Tools: Experience with Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib/Seaborn; familiarity with Sklearn;
- Mathematics: Understanding of linear algebra, mathematical statistics, and probability theory (you know the difference between correlation and covariance);
