We are looking for a strong and responsible part-time DevOps Engineer who will take on the support of the company's internal infrastructure and client project infrastructure. The role will involve a lot of independence: it is important not only to complete assigned tasks but also to foresee problems, keep the infrastructure in working order, and quickly respond to incidents.
What needs to be done:
- Administration of cloud infrastructure in Yandex Cloud and Linode: resource inventory, cost and payment control, domain management and renewal.
- Support for self-hosted services: password manager, Telegram bots, monitoring systems, and other internal services.
- Support for corporate VPN and proxy infrastructure: Amnezia, Happ, Hiddify.
- Management of secrets and access: access audit, rotation and update of API keys and tokens, including OpenRouter, AssemblyAI, Telegram bots.
- Assisting the development team with deploying and configuring test environments.
- Deployment and maintenance of infrastructure, primarily in client environments.
- MTS Design: deployment of infrastructure in MWS and on-premise customer environments, work with Kubernetes, Terragrunt, IaC.
- MTS Bank: support for on-premise infrastructure, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Helm.
- DeltaLeasing: configuration and administration of on-premise environments, including virtual machines and Windows/RDP.
- Glavstroy: support for web infrastructure, Reg.ru, Ubuntu, Laravel.
What we expect from our future colleague:
- Commercial experience in DevOps / SRE / system administration of 3+ years.
- Solid understanding of Linux and experience in server infrastructure administration.
- Practical experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience with IaC, preferably Terraform / Terragrunt.
- Knowledge and practical experience with Helm and ArgoCD.
- Experience with cloud infrastructures, preferably Yandex Cloud.
- Experience with on-premise infrastructure.
- Understanding of CI/CD and application deployment processes.
- Experience in configuring monitoring and troubleshooting infrastructure problems.
- Understanding of security issues: management of secrets, API keys, access, and their rotation.
- Willingness to independently learn new technologies and infrastructure.
- A high degree of responsibility and independence — critically important for this role.
- Readiness to promptly respond to incidents and urgent team requests.
- Experience working in client on-premise environments.
Conditions
- Part-time: 10–15 hours per week, approximately 40–60 hours per month.
- Rate 800-1200 RUB/hour.
- Flexible schedule: planned tasks and IaC development can be done at your convenience.
- On weekdays from 10:00 to 19:00 MSK, you need to be available for prompt incident response.
- We expect a response to production downtime or urgent team requests within 1–2 hours.
- Weekly sync with CTO — about 30 minutes: we plan tasks, discuss current issues and priorities.
- Lots of independence and responsibility for results.
