Analyst for the Smart Home Team with Alice

Smart devices and voice assistants are becoming an integral part of people's lives. Our team is improving the Yandex smart home: we make great devices, develop a convenient and reliable ecosystem, and have big plans. We continuously work on product quality and also help develop new cool features. We are looking for an active and experienced analyst who will help us make the smart home even better.

What tasks await you

Smart Building In June 2025, in partnership with MR Group and the Ujin platform, we launched a pilot project to integrate Alice into smart buildings. The first facility with Alice was the SLAVA residential complex in Moscow. Its residents will be able to interact with the building's infrastructure via voice or through the "Home with Alice" mobile app: answer intercom calls, view shared building cameras, and order electronic passes for guests and couriers.

To develop the project in collaboration with product and development teams, we will build dashboards, research user behavior, assess its impact on business metrics, and conduct experiments.

Voice-enabling new features Smart devices connected to our platform can be controlled by voice. And, to use new capabilities, Alice needs additional training. You will need to collect data for model training, conduct offline quality measurements and A/B research, and develop metrics that describe the success of voice interaction for the user.

We expect that you

• Have worked as an analyst for more than two years
• Have conducted A/B tests
• Love working with data and know how to extract practical results from it
• Know mathematical statistics and probability theory
• Write in Python and know algorithms
• Are self-sufficient and ready to take on new tasks for which there is no ready-made solution
• Can quickly absorb a lot of new information
