About the Product and Team
We are looking for a middle+/senior product designer for the "Tutors" team.
Educational products for children are divided into additional education (AE) and home schooling (HS). AE products help students achieve a specific goal: improve grades in a particular subject, prepare for exams or olympiads. AE has three learning formats — courses, tutors, and mini-groups.
The main metrics for the "Tutors" team are renewal conversion, number of repcourses per user, and LTV.
The team works with:
- tutor selection flow;
- repcourse page;
- my programs page;
- the entire tutor's personal account;
- the tutor repcourse page.
Your Responsibilities
- analyze the experience of students and tutors;
- conduct competitor and market analysis;
- formulate hypotheses in partnership with a product manager;
- create interactive prototypes, conduct interviews and UX testing with users;
- design new features and improve existing ones;
- analyze the results of implemented solutions in metrics;
- participate in the development of a design system.
What's Important to Us
- 4+ years of experience in product design;
- confident command of Figma: shortcuts, autolayouts, components;
- experience in designing web products, including mobile ones;
- ability to design and conduct UX research;
- knowledge and application of frameworks (CJM, JTBD, etc.);
- understanding of product metrics, ability to make design decisions based on them;
- ability to work within constraints and understanding of the iterative approach;
- basic knowledge of UX editing, animation, illustration;
- skill in effective communication and constructive feedback;
- proactivity in tasks and processes.
It Will Be a Plus
- experience in EdTech or ecosystem products;
- experience with retention metrics or upselling;
- expertise in emotional design;
- training at Gorbunov Bureau.
