Python Developer for Autonomous Transport Geoservices
The Autonomous Transport Geoservices development team is engaged in tasks related to the creation and delivery of high-precision maps for a fleet of autonomous vehicles and robots. We are developing a vector map editor, services for working with lidar maps, map creation algorithms, C++ software for reading maps on devices. We also supply maps to other autonomous transport services and assist with internal map development processes.
We need a Python developer who will create new services, develop existing ones, and be responsible for a part of their functionality. You will be tasked with designing solutions, developing the architecture and code for services, and bringing them to production.
Our tech stack: web services on FastAPI and aiohttp, services packaged in Docker, deployed using internal CI/CD in Yandex Deploy, Celery for task queues.
Development of services for map delivery You will participate in creating services that deliver maps and their components to users in various formats. It is important to maintain the reliability and performance of our services, as they are also used by other critical services.
Map creation and editing You will also develop services that assist in creating high-precision maps. We have processes for automatic map creation and annotation tools for the cartography team. It is necessary to ensure the quality of tools and the share of automated processes to speed up the creation of high-precision maps.
Automation of operational processes We help automate operational processes related to maps: collecting map edits, dispatching teams to record terrain, reviewing drives, and working with product locations.
