Autonomous Fleet Management Services Developer

Partner Services Team of Autonomous Transport develops backends used for creating and executing passenger and freight transport tasks in autonomous mode. Our services are central to integrating the autonomous fleet with business objectives and automate the process from receiving tasks to their successful completion.

We are looking for a Python developer who is interested in creating new services with a focus on stability, developing existing services, and being responsible for part of their functionality. You will be responsible for designing solutions, planning architecture, writing code, and taking it to production.

What tasks await you

Operational Planning Services You will develop and expand API and backend services for receiving and planning orders for autonomous taxis and trucks and managing these orders. Furthermore, you will ensure high availability, scalability, and security of key microservices.

Integration with Internal Infrastructure and Partners You will need not only to integrate services within our infrastructure but also to develop APIs for integration with partners. The requirements for reliability, quality, and performance of these services are even higher.

Analytics Tools Development Additionally, you will organize the collection, aggregation, and storage of data for every step of the business process: from job and route information to telemetry and key metrics. You will also develop and maintain tools that help answer questions about efficiency, investigate incidents, and monitor quality.

We expect you to

• Have experience with any popular relational databases, e.g., PostgreSQL
• Have written tests
• Are ready to write in Python
• Are capable of creating reliable code, investigating complex problems
• Know how to write web services and understand microservice architecture

Will be a plus

• Have developed logistics services
• Are familiar with Temporal or similar solutions
• Are not afraid to work with infrastructure
• Understand how to make scalable systems, find bottlenecks, plan resources and load
• Have experience supporting C++ components
