Developer of autonomous fleet management services

The remote control services team for autonomous fleets works on interfaces and services through which operators directly manage devices in non-standard situations, as well as monitor and control the entire fleet in all locations. Our services implement all processes: from summoning an operator to direct intervention. We develop both management services, video streaming, operator assignment services, and software on the devices that processes commands for them.

We are looking for a Python developer who is interested in creating new services with a focus on stability, developing existing services, and being responsible for part of their functionality. You will be tasked with working out solutions to problems, designing architecture, writing code, and bringing it to production.

Tasks that await you

Remote control services You will develop services and interfaces through which operators remotely help delivery robots, autonomous taxis, and trucks handle non-standard situations. It is important that these services are reliable and performant.

Fleet communication services You will need to develop services that can communicate directly with the autonomous fleet, receiving its status and transmitting commands to it, as well as proxy services handling video streams from multiple cameras. The requirements for the reliability, quality, and performance of these services are even higher.

Operator assignment and fleet monitoring processes In addition, you will work on services that assign operators to tasks, taking into account their specializations and priorities. We also need to develop services that help monitor device status and make decisions about fleet management in all locations or within ODDs (operational design domains).

We expect you to

• Be ready to code in Python
• Be capable of creating reliable code, investigating complex problems
• Have worked with any popular relational databases, for example PostgreSQL
• Know how to write web services and understand microservice architecture
• Have written tests
