We are looking for a developer to join the Kinopoisk product team responsible for a wide range of user scenarios in international brands. We develop functionality for the platform part of applications, implement logic for special projects, are responsible for integrations with external partners, and also expand video scenario functionality for the needs of the international direction.

Stack: Java 21, Spring Boot, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Redis.

What tasks await you

Development of new features Despite its youth, the international direction has already gathered over a million subscribers and continues to grow. Therefore, our development team primarily focuses on new functionality. Among our tasks are special projects (promotional campaigns involving interaction with external partners or prize giveaway mechanics), expanding video scenario functionality, supporting launches in new geographies, and integrations with new partners.

Support and development of the platform part International applications are launched on a common platform. It is necessary to develop and maintain functionality for user communications, user profiles, as well as the BDUI layer for implementing user interfaces.

We expect that you

• Have developed in Java, confidently use Spring
• Have an excellent understanding of relational and non-relational databases
• Understand network protocols, have designed interservice communication
• Understand the principles of building distributed fault-tolerant systems
• Know basic algorithms and data structures
• Know how to search for and propose solutions, are willing to help colleagues
• Are independent and proactive, understand what product development is, know how and like to work in a team

Will be a plus

• Are familiar with GraphQL
• Have basic skills in working in Unix-like systems
• Have worked with high-load distributed systems
