Backend Developer for the Employee Development Team
Our team is creating a new line of internal products for employee development. We are developing a Talent Management System (TMS), which will help attract, develop, and retain high-potential employees, and we are also creating self-service tools to help employees grow professionally and advance their careers at Yandex.
The TMS is a suite of services for the evaluation, development, and motivation of Yandex employees. We help managers track their team's successes, monitor employee performance results, plan their personal development, and enhance team skills. We help employees expand their competencies, understand set goals, and prepare effectively for biannual reviews. And we help the company identify talent, offer them growth opportunities, and prepare successors for management at various levels.
We are looking for developers with experience in Java or Kotlin. Our tech stack: Kotlin + Spring Boot, Celery, Redis, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Docker Compose.
Rebuilding Platform Segments You will rebuild, and in places create from scratch, the personal account (for employee, manager, HR) and role-based access systems in accordance with the new talent management strategy.
Tool Development The platform evolves alongside technologies. You will integrate the generative network YaGPT, recommendation systems, and other cross-projects with Yandex teams into the user experience.
Service Development and Support You will be involved in application development — from writing code to deploying and configuring infrastructure.
