Java/Kotlin Developer for the Internal Backend Infrastructure Group of FinTech

Our team is building a next-generation fintech platform that unites payment services, risk analysis, asset management, and real-time analytics into a single distributed infrastructure. What tasks await you

Design and development of a highly reliable fintech platform We are responsible for creating a platform with a focus on latency, fault tolerance, resilience, and scalability. You will be tasked with developing key components of the core platform, establishing engineering standards, and creating tools for predictable service development and operation.

Development of self-healing and self-observing components Our group ensures the operation of autoscaling, circuit-breaking, dynamic throttling, and other self-healing system mechanisms. We are building a platform that automatically adapts to load and minimizes the impact of failures.

Building reliability and recovery strategies We develop multi-region failover, zero-downtime rollout, rollback mechanisms, and event-replay systems. This guarantees uninterrupted operation of payment services even under abnormal conditions.

We expect that you

• Have developed high-performance distributed systems
• Know distributed systems, network protocols, concurrency control
• Have experience with Kubernetes, service meshes (Istio)
• Understand SRE practices: SLO/SLA, error budgets, blameless postmortems
• Are proficient in one of the languages: C++, Go, Kotlin, Java, Python
• Are familiar with the observability stack: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry

Will be a plus

• Have experience with financial and payment systems
• Understand the principles of transactions, consistency, and PCI DSS
• Have developed high-load systems with low-latency requirements
• Have experience with Terraform, Kafka, gRPC,
• Have built multi-region architectures
