Lead AI Engineer
Due to the development of AI and ML directions in the "Agrosila" Holding, we invite candidates for the position of Lead AI Engineer
What will you be doing?
- Acting as a Lead AI Engineer and AI Solutions Business Analyst for the Holding within the team;
- Developing, implementing, and supporting AI solutions for the Holding: chatbots, voice assistants, digital assistants, corporate knowledge bases, RAG services, AI agents, and analytical services;
- Participating in the Holding's IT projects for the development of client, procurement, and internal support; creating a digital knowledge base and self-service tools; forecasting, planning, and optimizing production;
- Participating in gathering requirements from the business and translating them into clear technical specifications;
- Collaborating with DE/DS/ML/AI specialists to define the architecture and functional logic of AI solutions;
- Integrating AI services with corporate systems;
- Improving the quality, speed, and reliability of the Holding's AI solutions, configuring their monitoring and auditing;
- Conducting code reviews, providing constructive feedback to colleagues as a mentor, and participating in the development of the team's engineering practices.
Our expectations for the candidate:
- At least 3 years of experience as an AI/ML engineer, backend developer of AI services, or LLM/RAG solutions tech lead, with projects brought to industrial operation and real business application;
- Experience in developing AI/ML solutions from scratch and implementing them into business: chatbots, voice assistants, RAG services, AI agents, corporate knowledge bases, or analytical services;
- Knowledge of AI solution architecture: LLM services, RAG pipeline (embeddings, vector search, chunking, reranking), orchestration layers, prompts, integrations, and quality assessment;
- Full-stack development experience: frontend applications, backend services;
- Ability to apply prompt engineering: system instructions, example responses, and structured data output;
- Experience with AI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Dify) and vector databases (Qdrant, Pinecone, Elasticsearch, or similar);
- Containerization and deployment skills: Docker, k8s, dev/test/prod, CI/CD;
- Ability to quickly assemble a prototype / PoC to test a hypothesis: LLM service, knowledge base, integrations, interface, basic analytics;
- Experience with data: sources, ETL/ELT, DWH, BI, quality, access rights, versioning;
- Business analysis and task definition skills for DE/DS/ML teams: customer interviews, AS IS / TO BE, technical specifications, PRD, user stories, acceptance criteria;
- Ability to evaluate the effect and quality of AI solutions: target and product metrics (response quality and speed, request cost, conversion), test sets, human review, A/B tests, post-implementation analysis;
- Experience integrating AI services with 1C, CRM, DWH, BI, knowledge bases, and internal information systems;
- Experience applying information security requirements in software development, including access control, user action auditing, and data protection;
- Experience with code reviews, mentoring, task decomposition, and engineering quality control;
- Development: HTML5, SQL, Python 3.10+ and JavaScript/TypeScript (OOP, asynchronous programming); VS Code, PyCharm, Jupyter Notebook, Git, GitHub/GitLab;
- AI/LLM: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and similar; frameworks for RAG and AI agents (LangChain, LangGraph, Dify, n8n); vector DBs and search (Qdrant, Weaviate, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch); response evaluation (LangSmith, RAGAS, promptfoo);
- Integrations: REST API, webhooks, JSON Schema, OAuth, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman;
- Product, documentation, and modeling: Jira, Confluence, draw.io, YouTrack, Miro, Figma, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Will be an advantage:
- Development and training of ML models;
- Experience with DataHub (DWH, BI, ML, analytics), including Power BI, Apache Superset, ClickHouse, AirFlow, Superset;
- Experience with cloud platforms (Yandex Cloud, AWS, GCP)
- Experience integrating ML models into working IT systems.
