Android Developer for the Mobility Team of the Yandex Go Super-App

We work to make getting around the city convenient. We help users choose the best options: taxi, carsharing, scooters, public transport, or personal car.

We are looking for an Android Developer living in Yerevan and willing to come to the office for the Mobility team.

About the Team

• We develop two independent products: Transport and Navigator, which operate in many countries around the world
• Our services handle tens of thousands of user requests per second. When developing new features, we pay special attention to reliability and the system's ability to adapt to new scenarios
• We participate in shaping development plans and creating new features

What tasks await you

Development of transport services You will develop new scenarios for payment, tracking, and route building, making transport use more convenient.

Development and launch of new scenarios for users worldwide You will develop and launch new scenarios for users worldwide. Scenarios must take into account the specifics of different regions and countries.

Technical lead role You can be responsible for the full feature lifecycle: from design to final launch for users.

We expect you to

• Know Kotlin, Coroutines, Flow
• Have worked with Retrofit, OkHttp, Gson
• Are familiar with JUnit, Espresso, Robolectric
• Have worked with Spring, Gradle
• Have used Flipper, LeakCanary
• Have used your own remote feature toggle for remotely enabling features within experiments and load control
• Have worked with Figma, Miro, Zoom
• Have worked with AppMetrica and other systems for collecting and analyzing necessary metrics
