A large IT company is developing an integrated planning platform and is looking for an ML Engineer to work on the Demand Planning area – demand planning and forecasting. The specialist will participate in the development and enhancement of the demand forecasting module, design data processing algorithms, and ensure the quality of forecast models.
Main tasks: ▫️ Development and enhancement of the Demand Planning module. ▫️ Design and implementation of high-load demand forecasting algorithms. ▫️ Analysis of market signals and data to improve forecast accuracy. ▫️ Development and optimization of data processing components. ▫️ Ensuring forecast quality and reliability of computational components. ▫️ Writing and maintaining unit and integration tests.
Requirements: ▫️ Strong proficiency in Python. ▫️ Deep knowledge of algorithms and data structures, understanding of Big O computational complexity evaluation. ▫️ Experience with data analysis libraries: Pandas, Scikit-learn, Statsmodels. ▫️ Knowledge of OOP and computational system design principles. ▫️ Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL. ▫️ Practical experience in writing unit and integration tests, understanding of testing methodologies.
