Description
Project: Development of a unified dashboarding system (Navigator BI) for tasks related to support and monitoring of SLA obligations.
We are creating and developing a service for supporting data products of several platforms (management reporting MIS, OLAP cubes, regulatory reporting under RAS, a layer of basic data marts), unifying and improving processes for working with incidents and problems related to data delivery and quality.
Responsibilities
- Connecting to various metadata sources that include descriptions and characteristics of data products
- Gathering and analyzing requirements for the processes of handing over for support and the support process of a data product (mart)
- Gathering metadata on the readiness of data products and quality control results at all stages of release from the source to the final mart
- Analyzing characteristics of data products and its build tree to calculate delivery timing
- Gathering information on incidents with data products/sources, assessing the level of obligation fulfillment
- Forming sets of KPIs for monitoring the execution of processes for handling delivery and quality incidents
- Forming requirements for the process of working with data delivery and quality problems
- Creating prototypes of analytical reports in XLS
- Developing dashboard prototypes in Navigator BI (a Sber product)
- Modifying dashboards to expand the set of dimensions and additional features using a modern visual element library
- Developing scripts for automated metadata processing (parsing, aggregate calculation) to prepare marts in Hadoop, ClickHouse
- Developing dashboard descriptions, supporting dashboards, including regular updates.
Requirements
- Work experience as a Data Analyst/BI Developer from 1 year
- Higher education in the field of information technology (business informatics, data analysis)
- Practical SQL skills (intermediate level)
- Experience with BI development tools (QlikSense, PowerBI, Tableau)
- Knowledge of system and business analysis methodologies, proficiency and experience in applying modern requirements management techniques
- Experience in developing product and technical requirements
- Knowledge of UML/BPMN basics
- Systemic thinking.
Will be a plus:
- Basic knowledge of Python (libraries Pandas, Seaborn, Plotly, Polars)
- Knowledge of UI/UX basics
- Project examples and portfolio of own end-to-end dashboards (from source discovery and analysis to full visualization) based on global BI solutions
- Participation in hackathons/competitions on BI visualizations.
