Today, AstraZeneca is opening a vacancy for a Data Steward/Data Manager in the Data & Digital (D&D) division.
An individual in this position has a unique opportunity to participate in the digitalization of both our company and the pharmaceutical market as a whole.
Responsibilities
- Identifying and formalizing requirements for corporate data, master data, and metadata, analyzing their usage scenarios and reasons for discrepancies, initiating changes
- Defining and supporting data quality standards, participating in data quality incident processing in collaboration with business units
- Managing master data: maintaining its relevance, integrity, and describing new business entities
- Configuring and developing a business glossary and data catalog, managing metadata
- Analyzing and resolving causes of data quality incidents
- Implementing and improving processes for data quality, ownership, and governance
- Developing the data platform knowledge base, preparing documentation for business users
- Contributing to the development of a data governance culture and integrating best practices into the company's operations
What is important to us
- Higher education in IT, analytics, economics, or related fields
- Over 2 years of experience in managing corporate data, master data, and data quality
- Knowledge of data governance principles, basics of working with metadata, business glossaries, and data catalogs
- Experience with Data Governance tools
- Experience in formalizing requirements, analyzing, and resolving data quality incidents
- Skills in effective interaction with business and IT teams
