The diversified holding UDS group is looking for a Deputy Director of Procurement.
Responsibilities:
- Planning the annual business plan for supplying the production department, sourcing suppliers for target services and goods, developing partner relationships
- Implementing unified standards and key supply chain development projects (digitalization, automation, standardization). Managing procurement optimization projects
- Analyzing the current situation in transport logistics, organizing efficient delivery of goods to branches, managing the transport system
- Managing the asset supply system: calculating costs for applications, consolidating applications, distributing tasks among executors, ensuring the arrival of goods strictly in accordance with the budget and deadlines
- Controlling the quality of claims work, the quantity and terms of deliveries, conducting claims work
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience managing a procurement/supply department in a manufacturing company (preferably in the mining industry, gold mining) with direct subordinate staff and KPI setting
- Knowledge of the specialized equipment market: specifics of goods, equipment, spare parts, and services for mining and processing plants, understanding price trends and key players
- Practical skills in strategic sourcing, conducting complex negotiations, evaluating and developing suppliers, building long-term partnerships
- Experience in implementing at least 2-3 successful projects for optimizing procurement processes (automation, standardization, application consolidation, increasing transparency and manageability) with confirmed measurable results
