Product Analyst
Highcore Games is a game development team distributed all over the world: from Poland to Portugal, from Thailand to Uzbekistan. We create games played by millions — our projects have collectively amassed over 400 million installs. Tanks a Lot!, Roadside Empire, My Aquapark, Stealth Master, and other hits are the results of our passion for game development and hard work.
We grew from a small team of enthusiasts, and we still keep it real: minimal formalities, maximum freedom, trust, and meaning in what we do. If people, the product, and the opportunity to make an impact matter to you — come join us.
We are rebuilding the analytics function in Highcore from the ground up and are looking for a Product Analyst who will be the main analytical partner for the product team.
Your core mission is to deeply understand player behavior and influence the product through hypotheses and A/B tests. While our AI tools handle routine coding and data extraction, you focus on finding the true reasons: why users behave exactly as they do and how to change that.
What you will do:
- Product analytics (70%)
- BI and tools (30%)
- Analyze player behavior
- Design and analyze A/B tests: from hypothesis formulation and sample size calculation to interpreting results and making recommendations to the team
- Prepare analytics for launching and evaluating new features — help the team make the right decisions based on data, not intuition
- Independently find insights and anomalies, not just respond to incoming requests
- Close collaboration with the producer and game designers
- Build and maintain dashboards in Tableau
- Design and implement new analytical events in the product
- Participate in designing new analytical tools
What we expect from a candidate:
- 1+ year in a product or data analyst role in game development
- Advanced SQL: we work with BigQuery
- A/B testing: experience designing and analyzing experiments, understanding of statistical functions, common errors, and limitations. We work with Growthbook
- Understanding of F2P metrics: not just knowing definitions, but understanding how metrics relate to each other, what they impact, and where one metric can mask a problem in another
- Tableau: ability to build production-quality dashboards
- Ability to formulate conclusions: can explain the result of an analysis to a producer or CEO — simply, concisely, and with a recommendation
- Git: basic experience working with Git for versioning queries and analytical code
- AI tools: use modern tools for work — Claude, Cursor, or similar
Will be a plus:
- Familiarity with dbt: understanding how data models are structured, ability to read and supplement existing ones
- Python for analytical tasks (pandas, visualization, automation)
- Experience with A/B testing platforms (GrowthBook or similar)
- Interest in AI agents and their application in work
In our ideal world, there is:
- A company gift of 100 USD for important life events
- Social package and guarantees according to the law
- A personal well-being deposit of 250 USD
- Salary insured against currency fluctuations
- 30 sick days per year and 100% paid sick leave if the limit is exhausted
- 12 golden leave days per year, one for each month
- Annual paid leave of 19 working days
- Work-life balance – it's our mentality, we love work, but we love our families more :)
- The opportunity to work both in the office and remotely, by prior agreement
- The opportunity to love your job and feel that it fills you with a sense of accomplishment and self-realization
- The opportunity to try yourself in another field
- The opportunity to influence the growth and creation of the team
