🌀 Product Director Mail (Rambler&Co) / corporate mail solution (full replacement for MS Exchange). The product is delivered on-premise: we deploy and integrate it into the customer's infrastructure, including closed environments with increased reliability and information security requirements, and simultaneously develop functionality for their tasks.
Tasks
- Collect, formalize and convey customer priorities and requirements to the development team; be in contact with the customer: clarify requirements, priorities and expectations, gather user feedback, notice problems before they become escalations;
- Optimize workflows within the team and at the interface with the customer in terms of receiving, processing, delivering requirements, and agreeing on priorities;
- Manage the development backlog and prioritize tasks with the customer, defending priorities before the customer and the team;
- Deeply immerse yourself in the product and be able to demonstrate the work of features with details down to basic technical capabilities (deep technical expertise is available from technical specialists in the team);
- Track product development plans and promptly notify the customer of their changes;
- Improve the task setting process within the product team (you and two other product managers): turn a customer request into a complete description — with context, scenarios, acceptance criteria, and materials for designers — sufficient for the team to create a design and take the task into work without hours of clarification. Make a complete task setting with context, scenarios, and acceptance criteria – so that the team can take the task into work without hours of clarification;
- Conduct grooming sessions with the team, achieving a common understanding of the task setting and readiness criteria;
- Balance commitments to the customer, technical debt, and product development, clearly explaining why a task will end up in a specific release.
