What you will do

• Manage projects: set goals, maintain a backlog, and interact with internal stakeholders.
• Engage in active code development, creating and operating a search engine in C++ and services in Go.
• Formulate a development strategy and team goals for the long term (quarter – half a year).
• Develop employees through mentorship, creating individual development plans (IDPs), and conducting performance reviews.
• Plan hiring, conduct interviews, and onboard new developers.
• Optimize the system for high loads (200 million ads in the index, hundreds of millions of searches per day).

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial C++ development experience.
• Experience in managing technical projects and teams.
• Deep knowledge of fundamental data structures and algorithms.
• Skills in designing and defending architectural solutions (databases, queues, caches).
• Ability to achieve goals through effective teamwork.
