Senior AML Officer / Blockchain Risk Scoring Expert

Cryptocurrency Processing | Blockchain Analytics | Risk Management

We are looking for an experienced AML specialist with deep expertise in blockchain analytics, mathematical risk assessment models, and AML system setup to join our cryptocurrency processing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring and analyzing cryptocurrency transactions, investigating suspicious operations. • Developing, configuring, and optimizing AML Risk Scoring models. • Setting optimal risk thresholds, minimizing False Positives without reducing AML control effectiveness. • Analyzing risk assessment methodologies and algorithms of various AML providers. • Establishing interaction with AML services, negotiating and optimizing cooperation terms. • Improving and automating the company's AML infrastructure.

Requirements

• Expert understanding of AML mechanisms, principles of blockchain analytics, and tracing the origin of funds. • Deep knowledge of AML Risk Scoring mathematics: risk calculation algorithms, taint analysis, transaction chain analysis, and indirect connections (hops). • Practical experience in configuring and optimizing Risk Score, understanding the impact of various parameters on the final risk assessment. • Experience with Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM Labs, Crystal Blockchain, or similar platforms. • Professional contacts and established relationships with AML providers. • Understanding of AML monitoring specifics in BTC, ETH, TRON, BSC, Solana networks. • Knowledge of FATF standards, AML/KYC, and sanctions compliance. • Strong analytical skills and independence in decision-making. • English language for interaction with international partners.

Will be an advantage

• Experience in crypto exchanges, OTC, or crypto processing. • Experience developing proprietary Risk Scoring models.
